Penelope Timpert-Argust trained as a Chemist before studying Polymer Science & Technology at UMIST in the UK. Most recently, she completed a CAS ETH in Digital Clinical Trials at ETH Zürich, deepening her focus on innovation, data and modern research models.

With previous senior global roles at Roche’s Global Headquarters in Switzerland and in consultancy in the UK, the USA, Europe and Japan, Penelope has over 20 years of international experience across pharma, medtech, management consulting, academia and patient advocacy.

A EUPATI Fellow and certified Swiss Patient Expert, Penelope is an independent Patient Research Partner to several Swiss university hospitals (including research groups at ETH, USB, USZ, ARTORG / Inselspital, as well as collaborations with various international consortia). She is an Executive Board Member of EUPATI Switzerland, a Scientific Committee member to FOREUM and a Scientific Advisory Board member to the Department of Clinical Research at the University of Basel.
